SAFE IN THE HARBOUR

This was supposed to be my winter project.
It has now turned into a fall, winter, spring
project. I am 3/4 of the way finished
and am determined that this rug hooking
isn't going to turn into another one of those pieces in my 'unfinished project collection'.

On a trip to the maritimes last summer I fell in love with the craft. After viewing an exhibit of primitive rug hooking on Grand Manan Island, N.B. I knew I wanted to do one. I am always so 'gung ho' at the beginning of
these endeavors. I pulled it out of the basket yesterday and have decided to spend at least half an hour a day hooking. Good intentions. I'll see what happens.
