SHAMROCKS, DRAFT & DANCING

A couple of irish friends have invited me out for their annual
St. Patrick's Day celebration over the years. This March 17th I joined them for the afternoon at an Irish Pub. I will never forget the sight of them when I walked in. They were dressed from head to toe with Irish paraphernalia. I can't believe I forgot my camera. It was an afternoon I won't soon forget. It was so much fun! When I left them a around 6 p.m. they had the best table in the house, the step dancers dancing on their table, and they were singing to their hearts content. They also had some new ""Kiss me I'm Irish" buttons and green glitter hats to add to their collection. I left them standing on their chairs with their glasses of draft high in the air. "Here's to St. Patrick's Day, a day to be sociable"!!!!

There is a celtic band that plays McKibbins and Hurley's pub in Montreal, one of the members used to come to our church. You might like to check them out. We have a couple of their cds www.saltydog.ca.
